AMMAN —AlGhad— Outbound remittance has increased during the first nine months of the year, 2017, by 18 per cent, to USD261.3 million, compared to USD221.5 million for the same duration in 2016, according to the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ)’s Quarterly bulletin.

Notably, the Egyptian workforce comprises some 68 per cent of Jordan’s entire foreign labour force.
