AMMAN —AlGhad— The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) foiled an attempt to smuggle a considerable amount of narcotic pills in Zarqa today, Thursday, and arrested the three individuals involved, a police source confirmed, in addition to seven others arrested in two other narcotics cases in the Central Badia District and Mafraq.
More than 100 thousand narcotic pills were confiscated, on top of quantities of Hashish and firearms found in possession of the detainees.
Two were arrested and charged from promoting and selling drags, in the Central Badia District, and five were detained in a raid on one of the houses in Mafraq, used to store drugs.
All ten detainees are currently in custody and will stand trial upon the conclusion of interrogations.
