AMMAN —AlGhad— Operatives with the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) ran a series of raids over the last two days, leading to the arrest of nine fugitives, charged with trafficking and promoting drugs, some of whom are listed “dangerous.”
One major bust took place in the Central Badia District at dawn yesterday, Wednesday, leading to the nine arrests. Others are being pursued by the police.
The detainees were found in possession of narcotic substances and a stolen vehicle.
Meanwhile, the defendants were deposited to the General Attorney’s office in preparation for their trial.
