AMMAN —Al Ghad— Jordan’s Gross Domestic Product index in the 1st quarter of the year 2016 increased by 2.3 per cent coupled with a particular growth in the sectors of water, electricity, and agriculture, according to the Statistics Department’s report, indicating most productive sectors have shown positive growth.
Among sectors showing growth, water and electricity over the 1st quarter grew highest, by 16 per cent, compared to the growth in Q1, 2015, followed by agriculture at 6 per cent.
