Fuel Prices Up 5% in October

AMMAN —AlGhad— The government decided to raise fuel and oil derivative prices by up to 5 per cent, with exception of Household Gas tubes, effective Sunday, October 1st, 2017.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ decision ups the price per litre of 90 and 95 Octane fuel prices by 1.4 and 1.6 per cent, respectively.

Starting Sunday, the price of octane fuel stands at JOD0.69 and JOD0.895 per litre of Octane 90 and 95 fuels, respectively.

As for Kerosene and Diesel, the increase upped the price per litre by 5 per cent, nearly JOD0.025, to JOD0.495.
