AMMAN — The Jordan Express Tourist Transportation Company (JETT) said it will start operating trips to Iraq via its buses, the first of which will take off on Saturday.

JETT Director-General, Malik Haddad, Monday told Petra that his company and the Iraqi General Company for Transport of Passengers and Delegations Director-General, Abdullah Aeibi had signed in August an agreement to reopen and operate the land route between the two countries (the Karama crossing), and complete the trips' program and schedules.

Haddad added that the company has provided a number of modern buses to operate on the Amman - Baghdad route, with the highest standards of luxury and safety on the road.
