AMMAN —Al Ghad— JU head of student union confirms that the open protests by the University students against the decision to increase parallel and post-grad tuition fees will continue until the decision is revoked, insisting the sit-in is peaceful and that it carries no political agendas.
On another note, JU President previously criticised the sit-in and the protestors, claiming “outer political parties” are involved in attempting to exploit the decision to raise fees for political and electoral purposes.
The protestors delegation, however, intend to meet with Capital Governor and a number of Parliamentary Representative to reassure the movement is peaceful.
