AMMAN —AlGhad— His Majesty King Abdullah II early Wednesday returned home following his visit to Kuwait and Bahrain, where he met with the leaders of the two Gulf states.

King Abdullah and Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, held talks on Tuesday bilateral Jordan-Kuwaiti ties and regional development.

In context, His Majesty expressed Jordan's appreciation for Kuwait's supportive stances over the years.

The two leaders stressed the importance of maintaining bilateral coordination and consultation on various regional issues and challenges, to best serve the Arab causes.

Sheikh Sabah expressed his deep appreciation for Jordan’s honourable stances, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to stand by Arab brothers. He also commended His Majesty’s role in the service of Arab causes and the strengthening of pan-Arab cooperation and regional stability.

In Bahrain, His Majesty met with the Bahraini King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

His Majesty King Abdullah II offered his condolences to the Bahraini monarch over the passing away of Sheikha Hala Bint Daij Al Khalifa.

During the meeting, both leaders underlined the strong ties between Jordan and Bahrain and reiterated their keenness to strengthen coordination and consultation as well.

The talks were attended by top officials and diplomatic representatives in both Kuwait and Bahrain.
