AMMAN —AlGhad— General Director of the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) Eng Abdul Fattah Daradkeh uncovered to AlGhad that Phase One of the Hussein Renewable Energy Plant project is estimated to be operational by the end of the first quarter of 2018 (Q1-2018).
The first phase will integrate the plant’s power generation capacities of 485 megawatts into the national power grid.
The overall project’s cost is estimated at USD470 million.
