RAMALLAH —AlGhad— Israeli occupation troops early Thursday detained 14 Palestinians in various West Bank cities, as bombardment in east of Rafah, in the besieged Gaza enclave, injured at least two Palestinians.

A statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Society said that Israeli soldiers stormed the cities of Nablus, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Hebron and Jenin early today. 14 citizens were arrested.

In Gaza, two Palestinian youths were wounded by artillery shells east of Rafah in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources said that occupation troops fired a number of shells against two young Palestinians east of Rafah, leaving them injured, adding that medical crews transferred them to a hospital, where one of them was listed in a serious condition.

The Israeli army launches arrest campaigns on a daily basis against dozens of Palestinians in various cities and villages of the West Bank under unjustified various pretexts.
