RAMALLAH — Three Palestinians were injured early Monday, one critically, after violent confrontations erupted with Israeli soldiers, who stormed al-Mazra'a al-Ghrabiyya village close to the West Bank city of Ramallah, a Palestinian source said.
According to a statement by the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC), three Palestinians were transferred to hospital after they were injured in Israeli live fire and rubber-coated bullets.
Large forces of Israeli soldiers early Monday stormed the West Bank village of al-Mazra'a al-Ghrabiyya, blocked its main entrance by erecting a military barrier and started inspecting Palestinian vehicles and checking their IDs.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian youths in the village threw stones at the Israeli soldiers and chased them out of their village. The confrontations then moved to the western entrance of Birzeit University, where a military checkpoint is located, the statement added.
