AMMAN —Al Ghad— The Media office of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) stated Monday, that raids and arrests carried out in various parts of the Kingdom, mainly in Sahhab, Madaba, and Amman, have led to the arrest of 11 people involved in multiple cases and counts of drug and narcotics related crimes, and 3 suspected and investigated on accounts of theft and breaking-and-entering.
On the raids, a multitude of evidence from narcotics, to firearms, as well as stolen items were confiscated by the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel, including quantities of narcotic pills and synthetic joker, and 6 weapons in three raids in Madaba.
In Amman, a band of three people were detained along the course of investigation in several house burglaries; suspected of robbing 48 houses and 7 vehicles around the Capital, traced and arrested by members of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
