Newcastle United forward Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a hat-trick as Serbia thrashed Bolivia 5-1 in Graz in their final World Cup warm-up match.

Mitrovic, who spent the final months of the season on loan at Fulham, scored his first after just four minutes, and Torino's Adem Ljajic doubled the lead.

After Mitrovic's second, ex-Chelsea full-back Branislav Ivanovic fired in a powerful volley to score the home side's fourth goal on 42 minutes.

Mitrovic hit his third on 68 minutes.

That came 20 minutes after Jhasmani Campos scored for Bolivia, who failed to qualify for the World Cup.

Manchester United's Nemanja Matic, Crystal Palace midfielder Luka Milivojevic and Southampton's Dusan Tadic all featured as Mladen Krstajic's team bounced back from a 1-0 defeat by Chile on Monday.

Serbia, drawn in Group E, begin their World Cup campaign against Costa Rica on June 17 before facing Switzerland and five-time winners Brazil.
