AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah II Tuesday welcomed Saudi Minister of State Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, who handed him a written letter from King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz with an invitation to the Arab Islamic-American summit, which Riyadh will host.
During the meeting, King Abdullah said he is proud of the strong, historic and brotherly relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia and the two countries' interest to further cement them in various fields "in a way to achieve their common interests and serve the interests of Arab and Islamic nations".
His Majesty expressed his appreciation to the Saudi monarch and wished the people of Saudi Arabia further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by the director of the King's office and his personal envoy to Saudi Arabia.
