AMMAN —AlGhad— Manaseer Group signed an agreement worth USD1 billion with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) today, Monday, for the construction of the chemicals and fertilisers complex in Aqaba.
The agreement entails the lease of a land spread over the area of 900 thousand square metres, where the factory and facilities are going to be constructed, by Manaseer.
The Group also confirmed to AlGhad that the highest environmental measures are going to be applied in both the construction of the plant and its operation.
